Last week, six teams butted heads in an early September LDT showdown. Sure, we had our perennial contenders like Mintberry Crunch, and Foyfeld, but we were also joined by a handful of newbies who were trying to play upset. One such team, Something Clever jumped out to a quick lead and held it through the half. It was starting to look like some new blood was going to be collecting a Ten Eyck Championship. but late in the second half, Mintberry Crunch turned on the afterburners and rocketed to the top spot. It was a spot they would hold until the game's end. Congrats to them on fending off everyone and taking another championship. And congrats to newcomers, E=Mc Hammered on a respectable second place finish. Join us all again this Friday for more LDT at Ten Eyck. For bonus points, bring a new player. Someone who hasn't played with up before. Introduce them to me before the game, and I'll give your team some extra points in round two.
See you Friday!
