It was great to be back filling in for George last week again, and, what a game last week! We had eight teams to make a great time and battle it out for the prizes!!
O Captain My Captain started off the game with a great On Time Bonus answer, but then, Foy’s Are Us and Mintberry Crunch went to work and were both tied for 1st at Halftime.
In the second half of the game Mintberry Crunc kept up the hard work and lead the game going into the Final Question. In the carnage that is Final Question, CPR Business wagered big on a correct answer to move big time up to 1st. Lambda Lambda Lambda did the same to finish in 2nd place. And Mintberry Crunch wagered very conservatively (zero) to take the 3rd place prize.
Grumpy Old Vets were the highlight of humor for the night and get the “We’re Here For The Fun” Award!!!
At the next game on 5/15, in round 2 question 1, Draw a baseball for 3 bonus points!
