Ten Eyck – Let's Do Trivia - 24 October 2025 – BLURB

Greetings all!  This is Allen writing to you this week after covering for George.  Before I get into a recap of last weeks action, this coming week come dressed in your best Halloween costume for a chance at prizes and of course just for good fun as well!

We had quite the turn-out this evening with 12 teams competing for our prizes.  The first half saw 3 of those teams separate themselves from the pack with Love Handles in first and Farm Folk and Know It Ales tied for second and only 2-points behind the leaders.

Love Handles had a nearly perfect second half to increase their lead over second place Farm Folk to 12 points heading into the final.  Two Sisters and a Mister moved into third place while Mintberry Crunch used a strong second half to move into a tie for fourth place with Know It Ales.

As usual the final question and betting strategy are key and tonight was no exception.  Asked to rank the movies Back to the Future 3, Ghost and Kindergarten Cop based upon worldwide box office receipts our teams put on their thinking caps and went to work. This was a tough one with many teams overestimating 'Ahnolds' box office draw with Kindergarten Cop and perhaps underselling Ghost.  There were two teams that did see through all that smoke though; Mintberry Crunch and Two Sisters and a Mister correctly answered.  Two Sisters and a Mister didn't go all in on the bet however and this cost them the win allowing Mintberry Crunch to complete a comeback win.  Well played to all and congrats to Mintberry Crunch!
