Ten Eyck Brewing - Let's Do Trivia! - Blurb for 10/10/25

 Bam!

...and our first Let's Do Trivia! gameshow is under our belts. Some came bacause they heard about it and wanted to be there, others were surprised but joined us, and then there were the sandbaggers! (They had fun and played along, too, just not officially! Though they wish they did!)

John was the host our of the gate as we rework our busy 100% booked schedule. We have 20+ Hosts, but we're the most popular gameshow provider on the Eastern Shore (Delmarva Peninsula). We may see a rotating schedule of guest-hosts for a while.

Meanwhile, here's how the inaugural event went down: Six teams joined in with Don't Be Hatin' taking the early lead simply by being funny!

At the HALFTIME, Team Amanda were on top of the hill in a defensive stance... 8 points back is where we found Mintberry Crunch, who had spent the entire first half creating a dociet of the competing teams as well as the Host.

Don't Be Hurtin' were close by in a tie with the HOUSE TEAM, Thirst Responders in 3rd place.

At the halftime, we enjoyed the 5-minute break to stretch our muscles, and our minds!

As we continued with the second half of the game, somebody woke up team Just Woke Up From A Nap and the game was afoot!

As we were heading into the huge final question, a quick tally of our leaders displayed the fickle nature of our gameshow! The halftime leaders had dropped to 5th place leaving room for Mintberry Crunch to slide into the pole position. Thirst Responders slid right in behind them, and Just Woke Up From A Nap lept from 5th place to 3rd!

When the dust had settled and the screaming had quited to a murmur, The winning teams were crowned. Well, not literally, figuratively. But they WERE handed some handsome greenbacks. Well, not literally greenbacks, but plastic representatives of greenbacks. Or credit on the night's bills.

Good times were had, bread was broken, popcorn was consumed, and beer was swallowed before the fruit flies arrived! I'll call our debut, a success! I'll see y'all next time my schedule allows! Until then, y'all were awesome! Come on back next week! Arrive by 6, the game begins promptly at 6:30pm.
